The electrically conductive space saving kit consists of a 5 l (0435-2055) or 10 l (0435-2105) space saving canister and a StopCock PA (0525-1100) drain stopcock. The stopcock and canister can be earthed with the antistatic kit for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.

The space saving kit, which is electrically conductive, allows space saving storage as well as convenient handling of the liquid through direct filling, for practical storage and filling even in confined spaces.

Typical application area of the product

The electrically conductive canister with drain tap can be used to fill and store flammable and highly flammable liquids in explosion groups IIA, IIB and IIC, such as laboratory waste. It is used wherever strict safety protocols require the risk of electrostatic discharge to be minimised. For example, in the chemical, pharmaceutical, paint, agricultural and mining industries. In hazardous areas where flammable materials, explosive chemicals or finely dispersed particles are handled.

Anti-static set

When decanting flammable liquids without the machines and containers involved in the process being sufficiently earthed, electrostatic build-up can occur, which for many substances can result in fire or an explosion.

Bürkle’s Anti-static set ensures easy and reliable earthing.

The Anti-static set consists of three colour-coded connecting copper cables with clamps in a handy plastic case.

Necessary accessories

StopCock PA fits onto 3/4" outer threads and with the supplied adapter onto 3/4" inner threads and therefore onto nearly all commercially available canisters and barrels where the discharge thread is at the bottom.

The StopCock discharge cocks fit all containers with G 3/4" connection threads. Thread adapters facilitate connection of cocks to nearly all containers.

The spigot Compact for canisters and barrels captivates everyone through its compact build, which makes the valve on the canister ideal for use in refrigerators and on racks, etc. The short discharge does not protrude out over the lower edge of the container, which makes the valve a perfect choice even when space is very limited.

The discharge's specially optimised design creates an even stream of liquid with no splashing or spattering.

The spigot features easy motion and a tight seal. It is screwed on with a connecting cap nut. This guarantees a vertical position of the valve and makes it possible to adjust the valve later on.

PP, PE and PTFE are materials that offer outstanding chemical resistance to acids and alkalis.
