With a width of just 6.5cm or 12.5cm, the space-saving canister fits perfectly into tight spaces, making the most of the space available without compromising on strength or quality.

Well thought-out ribbing and thick walls give the compact canister a sturdy construction and ensure lasting stability and reliability every time, even when stored horizontally - ideal for refrigerator or shelf storage.

Made from transparent polypropylene (PP), the space-saving canister makes it easy to visually check the level, while the indestructible raised litre scale allows you to accurately measure your liquids.

Thanks to the high quality material, the jerrycans are autoclavable (without tap and cap), making them easy to sterilise and ensuring maximum cleanliness. This feature is invaluable in areas such as laboratories, the pharmaceutical industry and food processing.

For added security and to ensure the integrity of your fluids, the space saving canister is fitted with a tamper evident closure.

The space-saving canister is also available with a threaded connection and as a set with a drain tap. There is also a version made of electrically conductive material.

Support stand for compact jerrycans 5 l

The support is specifically designed to securely, space-efficiently, and compliantly fix 5-litre canisters in place, protecting them against slipping, tipping, and localised pressure points. It is made from lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminium.
The two tall tabs (“walls”) of the support enclose the narrow sides of the canister, preventing it from slipping or tipping sideways. Especially on shelves, in vehicles, or in environments with vibrations – such as laboratories or workshops – the support keeps the canister safely in position.
The base plate ensures that the weight of the full canister is evenly distributed across the shelf or spill tray. This minimises localised pressure peaks, protects the surface (e.g. perforated shelving), prevents deformation, and makes it easier to remove the canister.
When placed side by side, the canisters lock into position, enabling seamless, space-optimised storage – much like tightly arranged books on a shelf. This allows the available space in cabinets or shelving systems to be fully utilised.

Venting valve in screw cap

This vented screw cap is a special lid designed for Bürkle space-saving canisters, featuring an integrated venting function. It has a standard thread (S 50 × 4, DIN 50) suitable for the wide opening of flat canisters and ensures that air can flow back into the canister during pouring or filling. This prevents glugging or unwanted pressure build-up in the canister, allowing the liquid to flow evenly and without interruption. The screw cap is equipped with a manually operated vent valve for air pressure equalization. Since venting does not occur automatically, the valve must be opened manually during emptying to allow air to enter and ensure a smooth, consistent flow of the liquid.
