This practical sampling kit contains various components of the PharmaPicker system and comes in a sturdy carrying case. It contains two collection vials and ten interchangeable volumetric tips for sample volumes ranging from 0.4 to 2.5 ml, allowing the sample volume to be precisely adjusted to meet different analytical requirements. The included extension rods, measuring 50 and 100 cm respectively, allow the reach to be flexibly adjusted to accommodate various container sizes and sampling depths. Thanks to its modular design, the individual components can be combined according to the specific sampling task. The carrying case ensures organised storage of the components and facilitates transport between different locations.
The PharmaPicker is designed for the targeted and controlled collection of small powder samples. Designed specifically for highly potent, expensive or active substances, this sampler supports efficient use of materials in the pharmaceutical industry. Interchangeable volume tips allow the required sample volume to be adjusted flexibly to meet various analytical requirements. The self-closing sliding sleeve enables precise, targeted sampling from defined depths. During insertion, the collection chamber remains closed and is only opened by gently pulling back at the desired sampling point. This reduces unwanted mixing with material from other layers and enables targeted quality testing. After sampling, the collection chamber can be removed and the sample transferred directly into an analysis vessel. As the PharmaPicker is made of high-quality 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel, it is ideal for use in demanding laboratory and production environments. With a penetration depth of 570 mm, deeper areas of powder bulk can be reached. For larger containers, the reach can be extended from 50 or 100 mm to 3.5 m using optional extension rods. The PharmaPicker therefore provides a flexible solution for sampling free-flowing, powdered and fine-grained materials.
Typical application area of the product
The PharmaPicker is ideal for sampling in pharmaceutical production, quality control and laboratory analysis. It facilitates the targeted extraction of small quantities of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), as well as mixtures of active ingredients and fine-grained raw materials. When analysing bulk powder materials, samples can be taken from specific depths to check the quality of the material at particular points.
How to use the product
- Insert the desired volumetric tip into the collection bomb.
- Insert the PharmaPicker; the sliding sleeve automatically seals the collection bomb.
- At the target point, gently pull back the PharmaPicker; the sliding sleeve opens the collection bomb, and the desired sample is collected.
- Pull the PharmaPicker all the way back.
- Remove the collection bomb and empty the sample directly from the collection bomb into the analysis vessel.

Collector Chamber for PharmaPicker Volume Tips
The collection bomb is the sample collection cylinder of the PharmaPicker system. The respective volume tip is inserted into this stainless steel chamber from the front. The collection cylinder is available in two sizes, each matching the volume range of the tips. Thanks to its removable design, the collected sample can be transferred directly into an analysis vessel. This simplifies handling, reduces the need for additional transfer steps, and minimizes potential material loss.

The handy, all-purpose sample jar is easy to fill, with smooth walls and no undercuts, so it can be emptied completely. It is an excellent universal container for all liquid and solid contents.
The attached lid can be opened with one hand and fixed at a 90° angle. This leaves the other hand free to take samples.
Liquid/condensate in the lid runs into a drip channel integrated into the lid, nothing is lost, nothing can drip out.
The sample boxes are closed while hot during production. This process ensures that the sample boxes are absolutely tight, as the lid and box adapt to each other during the cooling process.
The PP sample container is highly transparent and the contents are clearly visible.
The lightweight and unbreakable PP tube is resistant to high temperatures and chemicals. It is autoclavable, freezer safe and food safe.

The bags are made of polyethylene and are therefore exceptionally tearproof and leakproof.
The SteriBag sampling bag is distinguished by its safe handling. When used according to instructions, samples are guaranteed sterile.
