This extension rod complements the Bürkle PTFE dipper, enabling sampling from greater distances. The rod is reinforced with a steel core and fully coated with PTFE to ensure maximum chemical resistance, making it ideal for use with aggressive media.
Despite the added length, handling remains straightforward. This allows samples to be taken from large reactors, storage containers, or even bodies of water – without having to stand directly over the opening.

Typical application area of the product

Ideal for sampling aggressive or pure liquids in large containers where the user needs to maintain a safe distance.
Example: In an electroplating facility, a sample can be safely taken from an acid tank using the dipper and extension rod, without having to lean over the corrosive fumes.
In pharmaceutical production, sterile solutions can be sampled from bioreactors using the PTFE-coated rod – the PTFE ensures there is no risk of contamination.
The extension is also useful in environmental studies (e.g. sampling from a riverbank), providing flexible reach for sampling in various locations.
