Nachhaltigkeit, ethische Zusammenarbeit und Menschenrechte haben bei Bürkle einen hohen Stellenwert! Ein transparenter Umgang mit diesen Themen ist uns sehr wichtig. Aus diesem Grund haben wir uns für eine Bewertung durch EcoVadis entschieden, damit Sie unsere Ergebnisse transparent und mit geringem Zeitaufwand einsehen können.
Was ist EcoVadis?
EcoVadis ist eine internationale Plattform für Nachhaltigkeitsbewertung und -intelligenz, die mehr als 100.000 Unternehmen dabei unterstützt, ihre Nachhaltigkeitsleistungen zu verbessern und ihre Wertschöpfungskette zu optimieren. Darüber hinaus hilft EcoVadis beim Management von ESG-Risiken (Environmental, Social & Governance) und Compliance (betriebswirtschaftlicher und juristischer Begriff für die Einhaltung von Regeln durch Unternehmen) sowie bei der Bewertung von Nachhaltigkeitspraktiken in der Lieferkette. Bereits im Jahr 2023 wurde Bürkle von EcoVadis bewertet und wir freuen uns, auch in diesem Jahr unsere Ergebnisse mit Ihnen zu teilen.
Advantages of an EcoVadis-rated company
The classification is a great advantage for suppliers, customers and partners. Anyone interested in working with Bürkle can quickly and easily access our risk screening and risk analysis and view our ratings and scorecards without having to contact us. Thanks to the clear categorization by medals, the performance of each company can be compared with others.
Evaluation criteria
EcoVadis monitors a total of four areas, in each of which a minimum of 30 points must be achieved in order to receive a medal.

Gold medal
We are delighted to have been awarded the gold medal in 2024 - a recognition that only the top 5% of all companies receive.
We were already awarded silver in our first assessment in 2023, an achievement that many only reach after revaluation.
We are all the more proud of this year's gold medal.

What does that signify
The EcoVadis medal is awarded to companies that have successfully completed the EcoVadis assessment process and demonstrate a sustainable management system aligned with the EcoVadis methodology. Additionally, recipients must fulfil specific licensing and accreditation requirements.
We achieved the gold medal with the following scores:
- Environment > 70 points
- Labour and human rights > 80 points
- Ethics > 70 points
- Sustainable procurement > 70 points
Our scorecard
The EcoVadis scorecards enable a quick and efficient review of a company's strengths, measures and results.
We are very pleased with the good rating we received in all four areas. For example, we achieved very good results for our labor and human rights policies in the areas of diversity, equality and inclusion.
We have improved in all sustainability assessment areas compared to the previous year.
In our listed sector ‘Manufacture of plastic goods’, we are even among the top 2%.
