The sample lance scraper is particularly suitable for sampling non-free-flowing, coagulating powders and granulates. The scraper edge efficiently guides the material into a sealable inner tube for precise, contamination-free sampling. Variable zones within the inner tube can be individually adjusted by sliding PTFE separators to prevent mixing of samples and allow precise separation of different layers or areas. The sample lance is ideal for removing large volumes of sample from different layers without mixing materials.
Two additional handles allow for safe insertion, fixation, and rotation of the material, and easy disassembly of the instrument facilitates thorough cleaning.

The scratcher is primarily used in industries where non-free-flowing, cohesive powders and granules need to be sampled.
In the food industry, samples of compacted or moist powders are often required. In the pharmaceutical industry, accurate sampling of pharmaceutical powders and granules, which often tend to clump, is critical. Quality control and research often require samples of chemical powders and granules that do not flow freely. For the analysis of fertilizers or soil conditioners that cannot flow freely, the scraper provides an efficient sampling solution.

- Pull out the inner tube and unscrew the stopper at the tip.
- Insert the desired number of separators into the inner tube and push into the desired position.
- Reinsert the inner tube and screw the plug tight.
- Turn the upper handle of the sampling lance clockwise.
- The sampler is closed and can be inserted into the medium to be sampled.
- When the desired depth is reached, turn the upper handle of the sampling lance counterclockwise.
- Turn the sampler slightly. The sample is transported into the sample chamber through the scraping edge.
- Turn the upper handle of the sampling lance clockwise. The collector is closed and can be removed from the powder/granulate.
- Flowable samples can be emptied into a suitable collecting vessel via the open inner tube.

Taking samples from sacks, boxes, bags, etc. with sampling lances is a common and time-proven practice. This produces holes through which easily flowing bulk goods could escape from the container. With the close-it seal, this can be prevented in an uncomplicated manner.
close-it has been especially developed for this purpose. The label has a sandwich-type structure (aluminum/paper) and seals the container hermetically (vapor barrier). This virtually prevents hygroscopic powders from clumping together.
The labels are available in different colors. With printing in red, blue, green, yellow, black or neutral (without printing in white).
close-it can be written on with ball-point pen, pencil or felt-tip marker.
The rear of the label is coated with a powerful adhesive. This means that close-it sticks firmly to most commercial containers, even to surfaces coated with fine powder, slightly moist or even frozen surfaces where conventional labels or adhesive tape will not stick.
