The tamper-evident seal ensures that the containers can be stored or shipped unopened.

Once unscrewed, the plastic edge of the tamper-evident ring breaks off when the container is opened. This makes it possible to check whether the container has already been opened or not.

The closure can then be reused indefinitely as a normal lid.
