The support is specifically designed to securely, space-efficiently, and in compliance with standards fix 5-liter canisters in place, protecting them from slipping, tipping, and concentrated load points. It is made of lightweight, rustproof aluminum.
The two tall tabs (“walls”) of the support enclose the narrow sides of the canister, preventing it from shifting or tipping sideways. Especially on shelves, in vehicles, or in environments with vibrations — such as laboratories or workshops — the support keeps the canister safely in position.
The base plate ensures that the weight of the full canister is evenly distributed across the shelf or spill tray. This minimizes pressure points, protects the surface (e.g., perforated shelves), prevents deformation, and makes it easier to remove the canister.
By securely locking multiple canisters placed side by side, the system enables seamless, space-optimized storage — similar to tightly arranged books on a shelf. This allows full use of the available space in cabinets or shelving systems.

This vented screw cap is a special lid designed for Bürkle space-saving canisters, featuring an integrated venting function. It has a standard thread (S 50 × 4, DIN 50) suitable for the wide opening of flat canisters and allows air to flow into the canister during pouring or filling. This prevents glugging or unwanted pressure build-up, ensuring the liquid flows smoothly and without interruption. The screw cap includes a manually operated vent valve for air pressure equalization. Since venting is not automatic, the valve must be opened manually during emptying to let air in and ensure a consistent, smooth flow of liquid.
